We are excited to announce that Strides Toronto’s Markham, Milner, Eglinton (Mental Health Services only) and Bloor locations have moved to two new spaces in Scarborough: 100 Consilium Place and 1940 Eglinton Avenue East.

2. If I am registered to receive more than one service, will I need to visit multiple sites?
While every effort will be made to provide similar services at each site, the combination of services each client receives may affect whether they need to visit more than one Strides Toronto location to access service. Please speak to your primary worker or their supervisor if this causes any challenges.
3. What amenities and features are there at the new locations that clients and families can access?
Both locations are wheelchair and stroller accessible and have large, welcoming reception areas. The sites will also offer one or more gender-neutral washrooms in addition to offering universal washrooms (which offer barrier-free access to everyone, including people who use wheelchairs). Consilium Place, located near Scarborough Town Centre, will also have a free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes between the mall and the office. In the lobby of Consilium Place, there is a place to purchase coffee and food with a large seating area and outdoor gardens in nice weather. The Eglinton location is situated next to many dining and shopping options. It is also located next to the new Golden Mile crosstown LRT stop, which is set to open soon.
4. Will I need to pay for parking?
100 Consilium Place
Paid parking is available at 100 Consilium Place. The current parking rate is $2.50/half hour, to a maximum of $10/day (6am – 8 pm) after 90 minutes. There is also a FREE shuttle bus service available from Scarborough Centre Station. The shuttle bus service runs every 15 minutes at each quarter of the hour (e.g., 10am, 10:15am, 10:30am, 10:45am).

5. How many access points/entrances are there at Consilium Place and Eglinton Ave. East?
Both locations will be accessible through the main entrance as well as the rear entrance of each building. The Consilium Pl. location will have a dedicated entrance on the ground floor adjacent to the Zone/Youth Wellness Hub for ground-level services. Additionally, Strides occupies the entire third floor at the Eglinton Ave East location and the entire sixth floor at Consilium Pl. Our offices are fully accessible. Both new locations will have reception areas to check in clients and families.
6. Will there be Wi-Fi access?
Yes, both locations will have Wi-Fi access, available to clients and staff.
7. Will there be gender-neutral washrooms?
Yes, there will be gender-neutral washrooms at both locations.
